NEUPC has recently been appointed to the Register of Apprenticeship Training Providers (RoATP) as a supporting provider. This means that it can continue to act as a subcontractor to main apprenticeship providers but, instead of being limited to just 12, they can now take in the region of 50 apprentices. This is great news for the sector, which does face a procurement skills shortage.
NEUPC is also a CIPS-approved study centre. It can deliver high quality, competitively priced, CIPS qualifications to any members of UK Higher Education purchasing consortia. The courses are unique in that they are contextualised within the university sector. Training can be delivered in several ways, including day attendance, blended or distance learning. All are delivered by MCIPS qualified tutors with extensive HE sector backgrounds.
You can find more information on the website. Or contact Debbie Shore, CIPS centre manager at d.shore@leeds.ac.uk.
