The North West Universities Purchasing Consortium has just published its 9th edition of ECOnnect, the e-newsletter focusing on Sustainable practices and projects throughout the North West - there are lots of lessons for universities all over the country though! This edition explains how data centres can improve AV efficiencies in the classroom; it commends Staffordshire University’s charitable initiative to donate surplus furniture to schools in Pakistan; it looks at how the NETpositive Supplier Engagement tool has been recognised as the preferred choice for universities in England; and celebrates three member institutions being awarded in the Green Gown Awards 2017.
