The following procurement policy notes (PPN) have been updated/published.

PPN 013: Using standard contracts

Scope: applies to all central government departments, their executive agencies and non-departmental public bodies. Other public sector contracting authorities may wish to apply the approach set out in this PPN.

Details: this PPN has been updated to reflect new terminology introduced by the Procurement Act 2023 and the Procurement Regulations 2024.

PPN 020: Guidance on data protection legislation

Scope: applies to all central government departments, their executive agencies and non-departmental public bodies.

Details: this PPN has been updated to reflect new terminology introduced by the Procurement Act 2023 and the Procurement Regulations 2024.

PPN 021: Payment Spot Checks in Public Sub-Contracts

Scope: applies to all central government departments, their executive agencies and non-departmental public bodies. Other public sector contracting authorities may use this guidance to carry out spot checks to ensure that 30-day payment terms are being implemented throughout their supply chain in public sub-contracts.

Details: this PPN sets out how contracting authorities can spot check their public contract supply chains to ensure suppliers meet the payment terms in the Procurement Act 2023.
