Zero-rating of e-publications has been brought forward and will now apply with effect from today, 1 May 2020. A full analysis of this development by BUFDG can be read here – please do share this with colleagues in relevant roles across your institution.
Following on from the first HEPA ‘time to talk’ session covering PPN 02/20 and the second session covering construction contracts, we are pleased to announce the third webinar in our series which will cover furlough and is being held at 10am on Monday 4 May 2020. The session will once again be conducted via Microsoft Teams and is open freely to all HEPA, BUFDG and AUDE members. James Major, Partner, Clyde & Co., will share his insight, before we open the call up for questions and answers. Bookings are live and can be made here.
WPM last week hosted an excellent Tuition Fee Fraud summit. Replays of all the presentations can be viewed here. If you could not make the event itself I would very much recommend that you take the time to watch the presentations which include an excellent overview of credit card fraud by Dave Lund Yates at Southampton, and a very important sector fraud legal overview from Nicola Finnerty, Partner, Kingsley Napley.
The HEPA Digest is sent to the most senior procurement contact at each institution by email. I am setting up a method for all procurement officers to receive these updates as well – please simply drop me an email to sign up.
