Time to Talk - EU Origin - slides and link to the presentation

Thanks to all of the BUFDG and HEPA members who attended yesterday's Time to Talk on the EU Origin rules with David Miller from The Customs People. The session considers the Trade Deal that the UK has entered into with the EU and the rules that need to be met in order for imports from the EU to be without import duty.
During this session we discussed the M&S Percy Pig scenario - when Percy Pigs are manufactured in Germany, cleared into free circulation in GB and then exported to the Republic of Ireland. HMRC has just issued some flowcharts on this very issue which can be found here.
