Commencement Regulations

The commencement regulations are not subject to a prescribed parliamentary procedure and can be accessed on

The regulations bring into force the revocation of the existing procurement regulations other than in respect of devolved Scottish procurements.

They also include the transitional provisions which determine the relationship between the current and new procurement regime.

The Procurement Regulations 2024 have also now been debated and approved in both Houses and have been signed by Minister Burghart.
