BUFDG is delighted to announce that we have appointed Ashley Shelbrooke, currently a Procurement Specialist at the University of Kent, as the new HEPA Procurement Specialist, succeeding Emma Keenan (now LUPC's Deputy Director). In his time at the University of Kent, Ashley has played a key role in improving the university’s procurement function, including processes, skills, policies and systems. He has worked with colleagues at SUPC to define an accessibility statement and toolkit to ensure that digital products and services are accessible to all, and helped launch the University of Kent's Sustainable Food Strategy. Ashley brings to HEPA a wealth of experience from the HE sector, private sector, and Government, where he worked for Crown Commercial Services. He has worked closely with HEPA over the last two years, has a passion for collaborative working, and sharing knowledge and best practice. Ashley officially starts work on the 24th June.
