New Public Procurement Thresholds from 1 January 2022

Thomson Reuters practical law reports that the government has laid the Public Procurement (Agreement on Government Procurement) (Thresholds) (Amendment) Regulations 2021 before Parliament, which will come into force on 1 January 2022.

The Regulations amend certain threshold values in various procurement legislation, including the Public Contracts Regulations 2015 and the Concession Contracts Regulations 2016.

From 1 January 2022 the new thresholds will be inclusive of VAT (rather than net of VAT) and will be as follows:
