************

It's ‘Delivering Tax: Lessons from a changing world’ virtual webex series which will take place on 17 November, 14:30 - 15:00 (GMT).  With under two months remaining to the end of the transition period, this webcast will be focused on practical considerations around the indirect tax impact of Brexit on your supply chain.

The background.....from 1 January 2021, there will be significant and permanent changes to UK/EU supply chains whether or not a Free Trade Agreement (FTA) is agreed.  Moving goods across the UK/EU border will have cost, compliance, systems and process implications.  Regardless of the outcome of the FTA negotiations, customs declarations will be required for goods entering and exiting the UK and there will be new VAT considerations.

We will be sharing our experience of how companies are developing compliant solutions to moving goods across the UK/EU border, as well as our insights into the duty and VAT challenges being addressed.  The discussion will also cover practical examples of what actions businesses should be taking now.

The session will be hosted by Marissa Thomas, PwC UK Tax Leader who will be joined by Mairead Murphy, PwC Indirect Tax Partner, Matthew Clark, Head of PwC Customs and Gavin Orpwood, PwC UK VAT Brexit Leader.

The event will be run via a secure video conferencing platform. Register here and you will receive a calendar invite containing the link for the session.

We are keen to discuss your most pressing questions on this topic, so please do submit these in advance via this form as well as letting us know what else you would like to hear about in future sessions.
