NEW:  Head of Procurement discussion board

Today we have launched a new Head of Procurement discussion board on the HEPA website – find out more here, and access the board itself here.

Time to Talk:  Legal Direct Award

The next HEPA ‘time to talk’ session will be focused on Legal Direct Award, and we are very pleased to be hosting the webinar with Debbie Metcalfe of Achilles.  The session will once again take place through Microsoft Teams and is scheduled for 19 June at 10am.  Places are, as always, free to you as a HEPA member – booking is available here, and please do share this with colleagues across your institution who have an interest in the topic.

The resources from the three ‘time to talk’ sessions that have been run to date are all available on the HEPA website: PPN 02/20covid-19 and construction contracts and furlough in the context of procurement.

Many thanks for all the suggestions for future ‘time to talk’ topics.  In the pipeline we are working on G-Cloud, planning and supplier management (to name a few). Please keep your ideas coming in!

Training

The next ‘Intro to EU’ course is taking place on 8 July online - booking details are available here.  We are really pleased to be able to offer two places on the course free of charge to HEPA members.  If you would like to make use of one of the free places then please get in touch with me asap – first come, first served 😊

Update, 26/05/20, the two free places for the Achilles course on 8 July have both been claimed - bookings are still open as normal through this link.
