Gold Standard created for public sector construction

The Cabinet Office have published a new “Gold Standard” to improve public sector construction projects. This follows on from the publication of the Construction Playbook earlier this year.
The new standard aims to tackle waste, secure value for money and drive innovation, and will have to be met by all future construction frameworks, with action plans to improve existing frameworks.
