13 July 2020 Ashley Shelbrooke, HEPA and Project Specialist
Welcome to the July edition of the HEPA Digest.
The HEPA Learning & Development group are delighted to be able to offer all members a free of charge training session covering Contract Law with Capital Law. The training is open to you and any colleagues from across your institution who you feel may benefit (for example procurement officers in ICT or Estates teams). The training is taking place online on 21 July at 14:00 and bookings are open here!
We have 3 Time to Talk sessions coming up in the next few weeks – as always, they are free of charge to attend and there is no limit on spaces:
Wednesday 15 July, 09:30 – Procurement skills for the future with Hays
Thursday 16 July, 09:30 - How to Manage Through Financial Uncertainty with Axiom
Monday 20 July, 10:30 - Spend Analysis and Recovery
The HEPA Learning & Development Group has a workstream focused on below threshold procurement and demand management. The group has shared some resources between its members and are looking to pull together a library of best practise. Do you have any resources that you use in your own institution that you would be happy to share? Please do get in touch if so.
Accessibility and WCAG2.1AA
With the introduction of WCAG2.1AA, HEPA are convening a group to explore next steps for procurement. The group is meeting on Tuesday 11 August at 15:00 virtually via Microsoft Teams. If you would like to get involved, then please do get in touch.
